I am FRIENDLY, ENERGETIC, and OPTIMISTIC. I believe you can achieve mastery and will do my best to ensure that happens.
I am PATIENT and NON-JUDGEMENTAL. I know what it's like to learn a second language; I started learning English as a teenager.
I am KNOWLEDGEABLE about my subject matter. I have a B.A. in Spanish, a TESOL certification, a legal interpretation and translation certificate from UCLA Extension, and a California teaching credential. Besides, I completed my own K-12 education in Guadalajara, México as a Spanish monolingual.
I am FLEXIBLE and ADAPTABLE. I will design my lessons based on your wants, needs, learning style, and goals. I can make suggestions, but you are the student and so ultimately you know yourself best as a learner. We will come up with lessons that work for you as an individual.
