About Sandra
I am Sandra Fernandez, I live in Alhaurín el Grande (my hometown) and I currently work teaching English to Spanish natives and Spanish classes to foreigners. I have 8 students and I dedicate myself to preparing their classes and to a continuous exhaustive follow-up of their trajectories as students. I also work as a masseuse, waitress and cheerleader during the summer seasons. I like to help students with learning, I know 3 languages at the moment and my idea is to continue with teaching. Now I want to try online classes!

When I teach classes, I would like to use, above all, the communicative approach method, emphasizing interaction and the use of the language in real situations. Although I also use other methods that are personalized and appropriate for each person, since each one is good at learning different concepts or even different languages and at the same time taking into account that each student can feel more comfortable with one or another form of to learn. Cooperative learning is also important, so I apply it whenever the group is receptive and thus promote learning-teaching among them. And last but not least, the following 5 points are key during the process of learning a language, so I will also apply them in my English or Spanish classes for foreigners. - Practice the "speaking" during the class. - Revise and memorize the concepts at home. - Use interactive resources to reinforce learning: music, movies, series, websites, etc. - Translation of texts to learn grammar and expand vocabulary. - Cards and online exercises according to your needs and objectives.
