About Carol
My name is Carol, but my students call me, Ms. García or Teacher Carol. I have experience tutoring for more than 35 years been committed and caring in my work. My objective is to reduce the stress that struggling students place on themselves and on their families and make learning simple and fun, teaching to transform hearts and make them happier and more confident students who will go on to achieve their dreams. To accomplish my goals , I have to develop psychological and pedagogical skills that allow me to create good work dynamics with my students.

As a tutor, I have the mindset to help others learn beyond explaining concepts well using different methods. Everyone learn in different ways, some take in information by reading and listening, others might need a more practical approach, depending on their abilities and learning style. With emphaty and dedication, I evaluate each student to choose the strategies and adapting my teaching style and lesson content to match the student’s needs, goals and learning style, to develop independent learning skills through problem-solving activities and asking open-ended questions to support their thinking process. I am a good listener showing students that I value their thoughts and listening to them. Those characteristics help me work hard with their self confidence, treating each student with compassion and patience, developing a good communication that ensures the engagement with my students and make them feel involved in their learning.
