About Jessica
I'm a modern language student, passionate about languages and linguistics. I've been working with international kids for almost 3 years, and one of my duties was helping them with their language skills in Spanish and English. Furthermore, I'm currently teaching English to a child, and I prepared him for his Flyers test (A2 level). He increased two levels during that time (8 months).
Although I don't have experience as a teacher for adults, I'm constantly exchanging knowledge with natives of other languages. I teach them my native language, and they teach me theirs; we also compare grammar and pronunciation. I speak Spanish (native language), English, Italian, and I'm learning German.

My approach depends on the age of the student. If they are children, I tend to use fun and kid's appropriate resources. I also follow guidelines of all the topics that a kid should learn according to each one's level and age. In addition, I'm interested in learning about what the student likes; thus, the methods could be more enjoyable.
For adults, I bring some of my linguistics and grammar knowledge to teach them not only how to write and speak, but also how to do it professionally. Spanish grammar, and orthography are hard, even for native speakers. I know how to learn a language from the beginning, I have excellent grammar and orthography in Spanish; and I know the rules and the way to avoid linguistics quirks (very common).
