About Nicholas
"Year 11 and 12 pupils preparing for VCE or HSC LOTE exams represent the core of my teaching practice. I am an Australian Latin American diaspora tutor who has worked with hundreds of students over 6 years. My MA Applied Linguistics from RMIT informs how I teach verb conjugation, accent and intonation, and conversational fluency. I help adult learners sharpen their skills for DELE or DELF assessments with a focus on vocabulary building and pronunciation.
Travel Spanish is another area I cover for those preparing to visit the region. I also assist with writing skills and complex listening practice. Discerning the nuances between Latin American and Castilian variants is a frequent topic of our work. Helping students prepare for high stakes oral interviews provides me with genuine satisfaction."
