About Pedro
Entrepreneur with experience in government and media liaison, management, sales and engineering. Co-founded two fitness franchise brands with international expansion. An International sales leader in European, Asian, South American, and Middle East markets with responsibilities that include assisting businesses who want to expand their markets and sales internationally, through facilitating meetings with decision-makers in various countries. Expansion included site location, design, build and maintenance project management of 100+ women's fitness studios. On behalf of Portugal, serve as an expert on the European Committee for Standardization which has developed European Standards for fitness clubs and is developing the European Guidelines for the safe operation of fitness centers during an infectious outbreak. The European Standards are being adopted by other countries for safe practices.
Additional experience includes 1) overseeing corporate internal software development; 2) mechanical and naval engineering project management; 3) franchisor and manager of two international fitness franchise networks; and 4) non-profit organization management.
Fluent in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
