About JARY

My formal education is as a biochemistry engineer with a Master's degree in science and I am currently working with artificial intelligence to feed Tasmanian fish.

I am Mexican, living for the last 5 years in Hobart. My first two years in Tasmania, I was giving private Spanish lessons to a range of students. I am excited to start providing lessons again as I have realised how interested many people in everyday life are interested in the Spanish language.

As a native Spanish speaker I would like to share this natural skill and help others to express themselves in learning or improving their language skills. Spanish slang, common expressions and phrases as well as how to express feeling and communication with body language and hand movements are just some of the things you will learn.

I love Spanish and I guarantee you will fall in love with this Romance Language. Every sentence is like poetry. I am also happy to share cultural knowledge and experience like Guacamole, Mexican recipes, and tequila.

If you are interested to go on this language adventure I would be happy to be your tutor.

About the lesson

*6 months teaching Spanish to tourists around the world in a 5-star hotel in Cancun, Mexico.
*2 years spent as a private Spanish tutor in Hobart, Tasmania.

My technique is dynamic, using videos, images, reading, writing, grammar, and spelling activities to teach you Spanish.
-I teach all levels from basic Spanish to advanced learners. We will adapt the lesson to your level and speaking abilities.

-Flexible to adjust the topics of discussion to what are you curious about or what is your main focus/goals, for example:
*Travel
*Meeting new people& make new friends
*Test preparation or exams
*Listening and understand Latin/Spanish music.
*Learn more about the 5th most popular language spoken in the world.
