About Elisa
I am Elisa. I am a physician in California, but am currently doing medical research and have the time to tutor! I really love my job and a big part of it is teaching people medical knowledge and how to perform different procedures. In research I also have a number of students that help me.
I grew up speaking Spanish in the home and it is a big part of who I am. I have found speaking a second language invaluable in both my personal and professional life. I am excited to be able to help others get to a level in Spanish-speaking that allows them to communicate with others in a meaningful way and achieve their language goals!

I believe in a hands-on approach to learning Spanish. We'll start by speaking conversationally to one another and then determine how to carry that conversation forward based on your level. Questions are always welcome and we will stop throughout to make corrections and discuss.
I grew up speaking Spanish in the home. I have family from Spain, Cuba, and Mexico. I also obtained a minor degree in Spanish studies while obtaining my undergraduate degree in the United States.
Children 12+, and adults of all ages. All levels. Sessions can be anywhere from 30min to 1 hour depending on preference.
