About Juan Sebastián

I'm a cultural anthropologist and contemporary dancer from Colombia. I love creative and collective artistic and research processes and I take kindness and empathy as my main guides in life.

I've been working in varied fields, from being a professional contemporary dancer to working with social organizations and even co-leading an international documentary film festival in Bogotá, Colombia.

I'm currently studying a master's program in Anthropology of Dance and I'm developing my thesis' research about dancefloors as places of identity exploration and political engagement.
