About Esra
Hello, my name is Esra. I live mostly in Montreal, Canada but I am originally from Antalya. Since I travel a lot and I love traveling, I have been working as a freelancer online teacher.
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature.
I worked as a lecturer in a university institution for 7 years.
I gave Spanish Prep Class courses for 1.5 years in the department I graduated from.
As a guest lecturer at a state university, I gave elective Spanish courses for 4 years.
Since 2016, I only give private lessons.
I have been in Spain many times. After I started teaching professionally, I received short-term training at the universities there with the teaching scholarship given by the Spanish Ministry of Education twice. I also attended many certified workshops and courses organized by the Spanish Embassy for Spanish teachers in Turkey.
I enjoy teaching and in the meantime getting to know new people. I like to do yoga, spend time with my friends and play video games.
I speak Turkish, Spanish, English and a little French.

My lessons are based on reinforcing the learned grammar with reading-speaking-listening-writing skills. As a team with the student, we create an interactive and enjoyable course environment with instant resource access, which is one of the biggest advantages of online courses.
The first 30-minute free lesson is based on a presentation dialog. The aim is to understand your Spanish level (if you already know some Spanish) or to introduce you some basic forms of presentation like as saying your name, nationality etc. with PowerPoint (if you don't know any Spanish), and to talk about what is your expectations about our following lessons.
