About Mark
I have 40 years of classroom experience teaching with great success. I have worked and studied in Spain for 2 years, earned a Masters degree from Middlebury College, Vermont, and a Phd from the Ohio State University in Spanish language and literature. The culture and language of the Spanish-speaking world has been my passion for many years. I have also spent extensive time in the Latin American countries of Cuba and Panama and have traveled extensively in many others.

One on one Spanish lessons with the goal of improving conversational ability and writing accuracy. I will provide help in practice with my own exercises and online sites with the purpose of improving or remediating the ability of students in all aspects of language learning in Spanish. I especially enjoy learners who are preparing for standardized exams such as the Advanced Placement test.
