About Flavia
Hi! My name is Flavia Anoeta. I’am a Spanish teacher coming from Spain and actually living and studying business in Ottawa. Even tough now i'm a student, I have two master’s degree: One as a french/Spanish translator and the second one as a Spanish teacher for foreigners. These last 4 years I have been working in Shanghai (China) as a professor at Shanghai Normal University. During my stay in Shanghai, I have accredited my competence level as a DELE examiner at Cervantes Institute for language levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. I have also worked with Beijing University in the creation of an online Spanish course, recording videos and implementing grammar contents.
Now in Ottawa I’m seeking a career that will allow me to continue working with people and teaching them Spanish and keep improving my work experience while studying my business degree.

I base my classes on the study of Spanish in a fun way and putting it into practice in real situations. I don't like just studying grammar and doing exercises all the time. I like the student to put grammar into practice by speaking and interacting with me. I prepare my classes according to the student's needs and weak points that he/she can have. I like to not only teach Spanish language but also it's culture.
