About Araceli
I am an English and Spanish teacher. I have been giving private lessons for English and Spanish, and even German, since I was sixteen. I've worked in an academy, I've taught private lessons, and I've also given online classes to both individuals and groups of people. I have worked with both children of 11-15 years old, high-schoolers, and adults. I have a degree in English Education and a Spanish minor.

My teaching method is teacher-directed. I am mostly prepared to teach secondary level, but I have also learned to teach younger students that do not understand grammar yet. I use dictations, writing prompts, exercises, and grammar-translation. My approach as a tutor is the natural approach, which means that I show my students the differences and similarities between their mother tongue and Spanish in order for them to remember and to become comfortable with the new language.

Details
My rates vary in case the hour becomes an hour and a half. An hour of class would be $10, but adding an extra half an hour would suppose an extra $5. Also, in case a class is cancelled by the student, the student will not have to pay for that class. If that class had been scheduled previously and I cancel it, as the tutor, I would compensate it offering an extra half an hour in our next class for free.
