About Eva

I am currently a university student at the University of Glasgow and have just returned from my year abroad in Granada, Spain.
I am based in Glasgow, however was raised in Madeira, Portugal. I am native in English, grew up speaking Portuguese and now have a B2 level in Spanish.
I am extremely interested in Spanish culture and Spanish cinema and hope to include a cultural learning aspect in my lessons if this is of interest.
I would like to gain more experience related to my field and I am particularly keen to offer lessons to those from disadvantaged backgrounds or who may struggle in school classes.
I offer low cost lessons due to this being my first experience of tutoring.
I am excited to meet keen individuals as interested in language learning as I am!

About the lesson

I am interested in providing very interactive lessons, and offering the student a comfortable space to feel confident in their language learning and tailor lessons to their needs.
An initial conversation regarding what the student hopes to gain from the sessions and which language skills the student would like to focus on specifically.
I offer lessons to secondary students (11-18) and adults of any age wanting to learn from scratch.
I am flexible in my working hours and can offe up to 2 hours of lessons a week.
I have a B2-B1 language level and have experience of studying at university level in Spain.
I'd like to place emphasis on speaking practice during my lessons if that is of interest to the student as I feel there is not enough opportunity in the classroom to do this.
