About Allison
I am an undergraduate student going into my final year at the University of Washington. I study Spanish as my minor, which I have completed, and am finishing up my degree in Food Systems, Nutrition and Health. In the last couple years I have had the opportunity to study and live abroad twice, the first time in Spain and most recently in Ecuador, where I have been able to refine my skills and knowledge in the Spanish language. Aside from my first-hand experiences, I have been in Spanish courses consistently for 5 years. Of course, I acknowledge that I will always be continuously learning more and more about the lovely language, but am very excited to share the knowledge that I have with my students and learn from them as well!

I am looking to help students with their Spanish, whether that be learning the basics, improving grammar and pronunciation, or expanding vocabulary. I find that a great way to do this is to use the language! By applying it to what is happening in new and pop-culture or focusing on what students are most interested in, I look to improve their understanding and proficiency of the language.
