About Lydia
I am currently studying Spanish at Durham university having achieved an A* at both GCSE and A-level Spanish and have also completed a C1 qualification in the language at the Universidad de Valladolid. Having worked in Spain for four months as an au pair teaching English I have a high language level and can converse with natives with ease. I have helped many students with exam preparation and I am confident in my ability to do so.

I believe the most important part of learning a language is mastering speaking. By allowing students to make lots of mistakes they become more aware of them the next time around, improving their overall language level. Discussing interesting and relevant issues allows practise to be made fun and engaging, whilst also improving vocabulary and complex grammar structures.
