I am a college student in introductory Spanish classes and Joel has been teaching me Spanish for some time now. He both fluent and very knowledgeable in the Spanish language and Latino/a culture. I appreciate that he goes out of his way to make sure I understand all the nuanced things about grammar and sentence structure within the Spanish language. I can see that he really cares about not only my success in the course but also being able to use this language skill outside of class in the real world. I really appreciate the individualized help and encouragement he has given me. I am earning straight A’s in my Spanish course and I feel so much more confident about my writing, reading, speaking, and listening. I highly recommend Joel!
