About Robert
In the global world we live in, I believe it is necessary for our sociocultural
education to have a comprehensive approach to new cultures and countries. This multicultural attitude of mine has been acquired through my long-term stays in countries such as Italy and Poland; it is now an intrinsic part of my classes as adding a certain degree of cultural awareness enhances the comprehension of students.
In addition to my academic work, I have taught extensive courses of Spanish for foreigners (in language schools, international companies, and universities) both in Spain and in Poland.
I am currently working in research and as a teacher assistant in the Spanish department of a College.

I do work all the aspects that involve learning a language: speaking, reading, listening and writing.
My teaching experiences in Spain, Poland, and Italy and with different ages and cultural backgrounds have strongly shaped my teaching method. I truly enjoy engaging with students and make them take an active role in a stimulating learning environment. Creating activities and looking for interesting and current topics to discuss, as a communicative way for students to better grasp Hispanic culture while having an amusing time (I use news, art, apps, music, role plays, social media and games). I consider the interests of the students as an essential part of every lesson.
In order to help them attain their learning goals, I attempt to provide them with my knowledge, support and ability to listen and understand their different needs as students and as individuals.
