About Maria Jesus

I believe that if someone does something with their heart putting all their effort into it, they will create a positive impact on their surroundings that will make other people benefit from it.

I moved to the UK in 2015 and one year later, I started teaching Spanish after a friend asked me to help her daughter with her GCSE exams. It never crossed my mind to practice this profession but thanks to that first experience and realizing how much I love seeing my students evolve in the language and I decided to train and get certified with level 5 in Education and Training in 2022 along with more relevant certificates such as education for children and special needs. During these years I have created an effective method with which my students learn in a natural and dynamic way and it is wonderful to see how proud they are of their Spanish (and themselves) when they travel to Spanish-speaking countries.

About the lesson

All my lessons are based on a method developed by me in which language learning is done in a natural way in which students learn in a relaxed and enjoyable environment where there is room for bugs, laughter, and fun and where the main priority is to progress in learning. My lessons are designed according to my student's personal needs and learning preferences and I adapt my lessons to all levels from beginners to advance. The typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes (sometimes a bit longer). I also offer free assistance by email or Whatsapp for questions or corrections so my students are free to contact me at any time.
