About Mariaano

My name is Mariano Maya Velasco, I am a Mexican American, my age is 21 years old. I have four siblings and I’m the oldest, two other brothers and one sister. Both my brothers are adults as well and my sister is still in school going to be her last year as a high school student. My mom and dad are still happily married to each other, my mom is from Oaxaca, Mexico and my dad from Veracruz, Mexico and he was the oldest out of his siblings. I’ve been to my dad's side of the family and to be honest with you guys it’s a very very different place than how it is here in the US, but overall Mexico has its own uniqueness like it does here. I am always moving fast so from that being said if I talk fast or go ahead of you please let me know I’d rather go at your pace than having to pay extra and not learn what I’m teaching. I love music and I did go to college but because of money situation I had to drop out of classes so my plan is to go back once I can get my finances situated and that’s it. Safe Haven for the LGBTQ+ Communities.

About the lesson

I can read Spanish, and with the help of my own Mexican mother she helped me read and write normal and cursive and speak it very professionally and properly. I am not going to just focus on teaching you but also get to know the culture of its origins and where it came from and just the history of the Spanish community. I’m also going to focus on each person individually and make sure that you guys are getting my whole undivided attention and I hope to get your undivided attention and respect. I also believe in the term don’t give up until you try your best not everyone was or will be able to do it but it won’t hurt to try it out and find out. I'm very cheery and happy so I know you will have fun if you choose me as your tutor.
