About John Martin

Hello! My name is John Martin Walter, and I have just recently graduated from high school. In high school, I earned a spot in the Sociedad Honoraría Hispánica (Spanish Honor Society). Ever since the 7th grade, when I began to learn Spanish, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the language. Learning Spanish became such a hobby of mine that I was staying up late at night to learn the language to the point that my high school Spanish teachers decided that I should be moved up one grade level of Honors Spanish. I felt that I fitted perfectly in the higher grade level classes, and I enjoyed every second of them. I believe that anyone can learn another language, and I would encourage others to do so. I only want for my students to succeed in school, and I will do anything I can to help those who are learning Spanish in middle and high school.

About the lesson

I tutor students in grades 7-12 , and I want to help my students achieve their full potentials in Spanish class. I understand the difficulties that come with learning Spanish, and I will help my students overcome these difficulties. I will help my students with topics of the language that they did not completely understand the first time in the classroom, and I will make sure that they will be set up for success. In my class sessions, I will be here to help students with homework, too. In helping my students understand concepts from class or in helping them with homework, I will ensure that they understand why the answers are correct, and not only that they are correct.
