About Maria
I recently graduated on Global Studies by Pompeu Fabra University.
Languages have always been one of my strengths: in addition to my two mother tongues (Spanish and Catalan), I speak English fluently; I also have an intermediate level of French and a basic level of Chinese. I really enjoy exploring the world, and I love meeting international people!
I'm currently working as a private tutor of Spanish to a foreigner in Girona, and I'm participating in a language exchange with English and Chinese.

I adapt to the needs of each student. For instance, you might find it useful to buy a textbook as a reference for our lessons if you want to improve your grammar. But it might not be necessary if what you want to improve is your communication abilities.
My teaching method is based on practice. I think the easiest way to learn a language is to feel a real interest through cultural and linguistic immersion. I have had many language teachers myself, and that is the method that has worked best for me.
In my lessons I use both my own material and content available online. In some cases it might be advisable to use a textbook as well.
