About Remy

My passion for Spanish developed through cultural exploration and language immersion, leading me to complete a B.A. in Hispanic Studies. Over 8 years of teaching, I have worked with students from varied backgrounds, helping them overcome hesitation and build natural communication skills through patient, structured guidance. I believe language learning should feel encouraging and engaging. I create a calm learning environment where students feel safe to speak, practice, and ask questions. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, repetition with variation, and real-life examples that help students understand how Spanish is actually used. Outside of teaching, I continue exploring Spanish literature, media, and cultural studies to enrich my lessons. Teaching Spanish is meaningful to me because I witness students gain confidence in expressing themselves across cultures. Helping learners communicate with authenticity and curiosity remains the most rewarding part of my work.

About the lesson

Spanish lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally while building strong linguistic foundations. I focus on pronunciation, sentence structure, vocabulary development, and listening comprehension so learners feel comfortable using Spanish in real situations. Lessons emphasize practical conversation alongside grammar understanding, allowing students to express ideas clearly rather than relying on memorization. Through guided dialogue, storytelling, and interactive exercises, students gradually gain confidence and fluency.

Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s level and goals. Beginners work on basic phrases, pronunciation accuracy, verb usage, and everyday vocabulary. Intermediate learners develop conversational flow, reading comprehension, writing structure, and cultural awareness. Advanced students refine fluency, idiomatic expressions, formal writing, and exam or travel preparation. I provide consistent feedback and correction in a supportive way that encourages progress without fear of mistakes.

Spanish lessons also build cultural appreciation and communication confidence. Students learn how language connects to traditions, values, and daily life across Spanish-speaking countries. Many learners develop stronger listening skills and expressive clarity that benefit other areas of learning. My goal is to help students feel confident speaking Spanish while enjoying the learning journey.
