About Ruby
My passion for Spanish developed from an interest in language learning, travel, and cultural communication during my education. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Communication Studies and have spent the last 4 years helping students improve language confidence through supportive teaching and practical learning activities. I enjoy helping learners feel relaxed while communicating in Spanish.
I adapt lessons according to each student's pace, confidence level, and learning goals so progress feels manageable and motivating. Some students improve through speaking and listening activities, while others prefer grammar explanation and vocabulary exercises. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and practical communication so students can improve steadily while building confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Latin American culture, reading Spanish literature, and practicing language exchange activities. Staying connected to the language helps me bring authentic and engaging examples into lessons. Teaching Spanish is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate more naturally and discover new cultures confidently.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through practical learning and interactive conversation activities. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary building, grammar foundations, listening comprehension, sentence formation, and conversational Spanish using engaging exercises that make learning approachable and enjoyable. Lessons are designed to improve fluency, confidence, and understanding while creating a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Beginners improve through guided dialogues, pronunciation drills, and repetition exercises that gradually strengthen communication skills. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar understanding, listening ability, and conversational confidence through roleplay activities and structured discussions. Advanced students focus on fluent expression, cultural awareness, and advanced communication with deeper language development. I also include storytelling activities and real-world situations that help students improve naturally.
Spanish becomes more enjoyable when students practice communication regularly instead of memorizing vocabulary without practical use. My lessons encourage confidence, curiosity, and consistent learning while helping students improve steadily. I want learners to become more expressive, comfortable, and confident while using Spanish in daily situations.
