"Standing in a busy market in Santiago, I realized that language is the heartbeat of cultural context. I hold a degree as a native Spanish speaker and self-taught musician who has spent 13 years gigging in Latin music across Australia. I have supported 200 students including working professionals, hobbyists, and advanced learners in navigating the nuances of Spanish. My approach integrates cultural context, business Spanish, and listening practice to move beyond basic vocabulary.
I focus heavily on idioms and expressions because that is where the true character of the language lives. You will explore the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants through my lens of 13 years in the field. I often use my background in music to help students hear the rhythm of speech.
