About Nerea
I’m a native Spanish speaker who grew up speaking both Spanish and English, so I understand the language from both perspectives. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.
I particularly enjoy helping students become more confident speaking Spanish, as this is often the part that can feel most intimidating at school. My aim is to make Spanish feel more natural and enjoyable while supporting students with what they’re learning in class and helping them work towards their GCSEs.

I offer friendly, personalised Spanish lessons designed to help students feel more confident using the language. For GCSE students, lessons can focus on the areas they need most help with, including speaking and pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, reading, writing and exam preparation.
I adapt each lesson around what the student is currently learning at school, so we can go over difficult topics, practise homework and prepare for upcoming assessments or speaking exams. I also encourage plenty of real Spanish conversation, helping students become more comfortable speaking naturally rather than simply memorising vocabulary.
Lessons are relaxed and supportive, with the aim of building confidence as well as improving results. I can also help beginners or anyone wanting to improve their conversational Spanish.
