About Mae
I am a Spanish educator with 12 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Spanish Language Education. Throughout my career, I have guided learners toward stronger communication skills while helping them build confidence in all areas of language use.
My teaching approach emphasizes practical application, encouragement, and personalized support. I enjoy helping students transform language knowledge into real communication ability. Every lesson is tailored to support individual objectives and learning styles.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Hispanic culture, studying language variation, and reading Spanish literature. These interests bring authenticity and depth to my lessons. I look forward to helping students achieve fluency and enjoy the process of learning Spanish.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help learners communicate confidently while building a strong foundation in the language. I use conversation activities, roleplays, listening exercises, reading materials, vocabulary reinforcement tasks, and practical communication challenges to support language growth. Every lesson encourages active learning and meaningful communication. I create a positive environment where learners can practice freely, develop confidence, and build language skills through regular use. My goal is to help students communicate naturally and effectively in Spanish.
