About Jennifer
I've been teaching ages 4 - 18 for 6 years both in the USA and abroad. I've also tutored adults as well as teenagers and helped students with homework. Previously I have helped students in college classes by proofreading their essays, as well as high school students who have not received basic instruction yet have been thrown into a mid-level language class. In the latter case, the student went from a 19 on a quiz to passing the next day once her needs were identified and met. I tailor all of my lessons to my students needs and do my best to help everyone have a positive attitude towards language learning.

My lessons are typically geared to 7 - 12 grade and college students. The initial lesson will be to get a feel for the students needs and wants with regard to language learning from which I will base future lesson plans. I believe languages should be taught 90-100% of the time in the target language and that anyone can learn a language provided with sufficient support and encouragement.
