I like to see the strengths and weaknesses of each student. First, I present a list of vocabulary to utilize and some worksheets that introduces the concept to the student. Once the student has attempted it, I will then proceed with explaining the lesson for that day and go through their worksheet and address any areas in which they were confused or had problems with. After explaining the concept, I provide examples and additional practice for the student to attempt while I monitor their work. I will also practice techniques that will improve memory such as short quizzes, flashcards, etc.
