I took about 6 months of Spanish lessons with Nicolás. We met for an hour every few days and my experience with him was excellent He is a very warm and engaging teacher. He is able to combine the structure needed to learn the fundamentals of a language with a creative teaching style using different formats. Additionally, we had conversations like good friends for months which helped me get very comfortable communicating in Spanish, which I appreciate tremendously. I highly recommend as a tutor :)

This is my 3rd time in the course with Nicolas. I find him very empathic. He lets his students "have their say" and treats questions about the material individually. 4 years ago I was looking for a native speaker for Spanish for my son so that he could enjoy the language and get support for school lessons. I wrote to three teachers over the Internet. Nicolás answered immediately and has been coming to us every week since then. Right from the very first lesson he said I should sit down and since then we have had "three-person lessons". After a short basic course at an institute, I took individual lessons with Nicolas. That was the best decision for me because I wanted a teacher who would deal directly with me and my pace, as I am often faster than groups. I really had a stroke of luck with Nicolas: he adjusted wonderfully to my pace, gave me very challenging tasks and explained my grammar questions to me down to the smallest detail.
