About Irene
My teaching style is based on the acquisition of cultural capital and adapting resources to learners of different levels, to ensure that the information is accesible to all students regardless of their previous knowledge. My main focus is progress and getting my learners to use the language as much as possible during my lessons, to do so, I always include a variety of engaging speaking activities

I am a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in schools. I can teach Spanish from year 7 to A-levels, and French from year 7 to year 9.
I just finished my masters in teaching modern languages and I am aware of the latest resources and pedagogical approaches as well as the adaptations needed for different learners. I also have experience as a teaching assistant.
