About Joseph
I am a Puerto Rican student attending Wheaton College (MA) in my third year.
I have experience in one-on-one Peer Tutoring in High school as well as experience as a teaching assistant where I was able to connect with younger high school students and help instill a desire to achieve well in Spanish.

Depending on the students prio knowledge of Spanish, I tend to start out with fundamentals such as the alphabet, learning the names of Spanish-Speaking countries, or basic verb conjugation structures. I am very passionate, patient, and enthusiastic. When teaching, I try my best to connect every lesson in a way that best makes sense to the student, often times this includes drawing comparisons and focusing away from direct translations/Google translate interference within the learning environment.
