About Joval
I have tutored for more than a decade (Kumon, personal tutoring, Cornell tutoring programs), I've built spaceships in my professional career I have made it a point to mentor junior engineers to help them succeed! My priority when tutoring is to align our time towards your long-term goals, rather than just looking to the next test. My experience in the space and tech industry gives me a perspective that many tutors may lack.

For High Schoolers:
I can focus on homework and test taking skills, going over previous weeks lessons and helping identify/resolve areas of improvement.
I can also focus on college applications and standardized test prep.
For Freshmen/Sophomore College Students in STEM:
I will focus on problem sets and upcoming exams for general engineering classes (and their prereqs).
For Juniors and Seniors in STEM:
I will focus on extracurriculars and early career navigation. We can identify areas of weakness on a resume and find resources that your university provides to close those gaps.
