About Malka

I’m a third-generation photographer, and I’ve spent my life around people at their biggest moments. Working weddings and events taught me how to read people quickly, put them at ease, and make them feel heard. That’s exactly what I bring to every lesson.

Writing is the other half of my creative life. I write poetry, stories, and lyrics for my own music projects, and I’ve built and run my own creative businesses, so I know what it takes to turn an idea into something finished and real.

I take every student seriously, I’m always on time, and I tailor each lesson to you. Whether you want to speak English with more confidence or finally write the thing you’ve been carrying around in your head, I’m here to help you get there.

About the lesson

Every lesson starts with a conversation. I want to know what you love, what you’re working on, and where you feel stuck, because that’s what we build around.

For English conversation, we talk about real things: your life, your work, music, movies, ideas. I correct you gently as we go and teach you the natural phrases people actually use, so you stop sounding like a textbook.

For poetry and creative writing, we read a little, write a lot, and talk about why some words hit harder than others. You’ll leave every lesson with something you wrote.

My lessons are for teens and adults at any level, beginners welcome. What makes me different is that I’m a working creative, a photographer and songwriter, so I teach writing the way artists actually do it: feeling first, rules second.
