About Kavitha
I am a software graduate and full time software implementation consultant with several years of experience in tutoring children across a range of subjects. Alongside my corporate role, I have developed a strong passion for teaching and supporting young learners in achieving their academic goals.
My tutoring journey began by helping the children of friends and family with homework and schoolwork support. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a rewarding part time profession, as I began creating tailored lesson plans, worksheets, and engaging learning activities to suit each child’s individual needs. Over time, increasing demand from students and parents gave me the confidence to pursue tutoring more seriously.
My teaching approach focuses on making lessons both effective and enjoyable. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, motivated, and genuinely interested in the subject, so I aim to create a positive learning environment where students look forward to their sessions.
In addition to my tutoring experience, I have previously worked as a teaching assistant, which provided valuable insight into classroom teaching methods and the current curriculum. This has strengthened my ability to support students in line with what they are learning at school.
I offer both in person and virtual lessons, providing flexibility for families and students. As I am mobile, I can travel for home lessons within a 7-mile radius of High Wycombe, and I am also available for online sessions to accommodate a wider range of learners.
I look forward to building strong relationships with students and their families, and to helping each child grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.
