About Zane

I’m a software and operations professional with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and over a decade of experience in software development, embedded systems, and network engineering. I’ve also worked in financial services, where I handled transactions and supported analysts with financial modeling and valuation.

Over the years I’ve learned that the best way to understand a complex technology is to break it into simple pieces, and that’s how I teach. Cryptocurrency and blockchain can feel confusing and risky to newcomers, so I focus on clear explanations, practical security habits, and honest discussion of the risks.

I’m patient, organized, and dependable, and I adapt each lesson to your pace and goals. Whether you’re simply curious or want to feel confident using a wallet safely, I’d be glad to help you get started.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for beginners, and intermediates who want to understand cryptocurrency without the hype or confusion. We start with the basics: what blockchain is, how Bitcoin and other coins work, and what wallets and exchanges do. From there, we cover practical skills such as setting up a wallet, keeping your accounts secure, spotting common scams, and understanding the risks involved. With a computer science degree and a software engineering background, I explain technical ideas in plain language and move at your pace. Each lesson is tailored to your goals and questions, with clear examples and time to practice. Lessons are educational only and do not include investment advice.
