About Frank

I'm Frank, a full-time software engineer with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University. I tutor high school and college students in Calculus 1 & 2, Algebra, Physics 1, Chemistry 1, Biology 1, US History (including AP US History), and computer science (Python, C/C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).

I've taught coding in person and online for a private business, working with students of all ages — from complete beginners to college students cramming for finals. My engineering background means I don't just teach formulas; I show you how the concepts connect and where they actually get used.

Specialties: AP Calculus AB/BC, college Calc 1 & 2, algebra through precalculus, Physics 1 (mechanics), Chemistry 1, Biology 1, intro programming, and AP US History. Whether you need homework rescue, test prep, or to rebuild from the ground up, we'll get you there.

About the lesson

We start with a quick evaluation of where you are and what you need. Then I build a lesson plan around your goals, your class syllabus, and how you learn best.

Sessions are interactive — we work through problems together, I explain the why behind each step (not just the steps), and you leave every session with practice material and a clear plan for what to work on next. For exams (AP, midterms, finals), we drill real problems and test strategies until you're confident walking in.

The first lesson is free so we can make sure we're a good fit. Lessons are online via webcam, with flexible evening and weekend scheduling.
