About Petra

I enjoy tutoring. Providing lessons that promote computer literacy amongst students. My strengths are in teaching: HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Java/C# and general problem solving approach that is needed to excel in computer science.

My lessons are typically 1 hour. Focusing on the programming syntax, programming constructs, debugging throughout the lesson and general career advice for those wanting to pursue a career as a software developer

About the lesson

The approach to the class will be in a 3 pronged approach:

- Grasping the syntax of the programming language(JS/C#/JAVA/HTML/CSS)
- Learning the programming constructs/methodologies
- Providing a series of problems solving tasks in the language chosen to solidify your understanding of the lesson taught

Age group: 11 - 23 yrs (Secondary/A-levels/University)

My Background: 1st Class Hons. degree in Computer Science
Over 5 years experience working as a full stack developer in companies such as the BBC, Santander, GTR
