About Fabio
A former collaborator at Sapienza University (Department of Earth Sciences) and founder of "AirMatic Droni," a company that deals with drones and advanced technologies, where the use of specialized 3D software such as WebODM, Metashape, CloudCompare, and QGIS is essential. Always passionate about science and technology, my intellectual journey began at a very young age, moving from a high school diploma in science to a degree in geosciences with a specialization in topography, geomatics, and GIS. In 2012, I discovered my passion for teaching, starting to teach geology courses. I use this software and drones daily in my work to tackle real-world challenges. I am an ENAC-certified drone pilot, a QGIS instructor, and I am ready to share the skills I have acquired with my students.

The lessons on 3D Software and Drones are Practical, Dynamic and Customized to meet your needs. Suitable for: • Drone pilots (novices or experts) who want to learn more about regulations, piloting or data processing. • Students of scientific degrees (Engineering, Geology, Architecture, etc.) who need support for exams, projects or theses. • Professionals (Geologists, Engineers, Architects, Archaeologists, Surveyors, etc.) interested in improving their skills on real and complex applications. • Anyone who wants to learn from scratch or solve specific difficulties with software such as WebODM, Metashape, CloudCompare and QGIS. Methodology: The lessons will be conducted in an interactive and practical manner: • We will delve into the industry rules for the safe and compliant use of drones, supported by my experience as an ENAC Certified Drone Pilot. • We will analyze the data step by step using specialized 3D software, with my support in dual Remote Control. • We will use dedicated platforms for practical, interactive, and targeted learning. • If you have imminent deadlines, I can create custom software for you, meeting your specifications, and then provide you with a detailed explanation of each step, allowing you to learn the techniques used for the future.
