About Biancia
I am a sociology student who has an emphasis in cultural anthropology at UMKC. I have taught Anthropology and Sociology for two years. I have an Associates degree in Liberal Arts and will be going on to graduate school in 2020. I have taught classes of 20 students alongside one on one tutoring. My students have commended me for making learning dense materials fun and understandable.

I have always taught in a hands on manner. I typically use a lot of games, current events, and local experiences to help the students learn. I find it is best to forge a connection with my students and understand how to teach them based on their feedback. I am always happy to change my teaching style based on the students needs!

Cancellation policy: if cancelled within 24 hours of the lesson, only half of the rate will be reimbursed. If cancelled within 12 hours of lesson, no rate will be reimbursed. Any time before 24 hours and I am happy to reschedule. Emergency situations are exempt from this policy with provided documentation.
