About Eleanor
Hey! Im Eleanor! I am a first year sociology student at the University of Warwick. At A-Level I studied Sociology (A*), Psychology (A*) and Geography (A) . And my ambition is to be a sociology and psychology secondary school teacher so tutoring would be great work experience for me! Of course, I would also love to help you in any areas you think are weaknesses and could do with some extra support in. I will tailor every session to your need and your learning style. Nothing is too small or too big! I have previous work experience with sociology tutoring with a group of A-Level sociology students and I have done lots of work experience in my old secondary school.

-Sessions for GCSE/A-Level sociology students
-1hr/2hrs lessons
1st session- we will discover what your learning style is. How do you learn best? What works for you? Future lessons will be based on this.
For example, if you are a visual learner, I will know to include lots of pictures, diagrams, colours, videos etc
Also, we will create a checklist based on exactly what you want to cover and areas you are not 100% on
2nd session + future sessions - each week will focus on a different topic you want to cover, content then active recall- I will talk through/revise some content with you, we can discuss points, explore and expand on your current knowledge, then we will do some active recall, such as a quiz
We can discuss at the end if you enjoyed it and if it was useful and certain aspects you would want to do again and then what you want to cover next week.
The aim of my sessions is to not be a teacher!I don't want to use talk and give loads of information to you because that is boring!! I want the sessions to be fun because that is how the information will stick!
