About Aaron
My name is Aaron and I am a 22 year old Sociology graduate who is building a career in the educational sphere. I am passionate about Sociology as I believe it teaches us, as people, the importance of being a good character. Sociology exposes us to areas of society (and other societies) we may not be aware existed and grants us the ability to learn more about the world we live in and how to operate within it.
I have a particular interest in the Gender and Sex elements of Sociology as I myself am non-binary and demisexual. Sociology allowed me to acquire an understanding of these identities and learn more about myself, making me the perfect choice of tutor should you require education on this topic.
As a tutor, I respect your time as a student and the pressure you are under. I aim to deliver fulfilling education material that improves your ability as a sociologist and ensure you are benefiting from my lessons. My goal is for you to excel in your exams and go on to achieve whatever you desire for yourself.

My approach to tutoring is effective and easily adjusted for each students needs. I prefer an involved form of tutoring, such as an online video call accompanied by a PowerPoint and task related to the topic a student wishes to study. These calls and PowerPoints factor in numerous teaching styles, such as a lecturer based approach where information is presented to you over the course of a lesson and questions are welcome throughout.
However, if this is not an effective way for you to study, it is easy for me to adapt to your learning styles due to my experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school. I can incorporate activities such as worksheets, online games, implement videos into PowerPoints to assess, collaboratively discuss how to answer exam style questions, and review answers to mock exam questions. I am well prepared to educate students effectively.
I not only possess a First Bachelors Degree in Sociology, but also the Tutors Award for achieving the highest overall grade within the entire Sociology department. I was often praised for my exam structuring and critical thinking skills, making me the perfect tutor for students who are approaching their exam period.
My lessons are typically an hour long and are for students who are studying Sociology at GCSE and A Level.
