Mclaren is brilliant, and so helpful! Last year, having just entered university as a chemistry major, I found myself struggling with my required English courses much like I did in high school. A mutual friend introduced us, and with her patience, concise explanations, vast knowledge of literature analysis and writing tips, I was able to pass my classes with an A. I strongly recommend Mclaren as a tutor for all levels!

All throughout my academic career, writing and English in general has been my weakness. However, with the help and support of Mclaren I have seen significant improvements in my performance within this subject. I struggle the most with finding my voice and conveying my ideas in my work. Mclaren has helped me combat this issue by providing very honest and specific feedback in an encouraging manner, instead of tearing it apart and shattering my confidence. It is also evident that she is well versed in literature and has been crucial to my understanding and correct analysis of texts that I study in class. In addition, she is a lovely and bubbly person who always makes my day whenever we have a session. Mclaren is the sole reason why I am seeing success in my English class and she might have made me even…tolerate writing (“like” is too strong of a word). I highly recommend her for anyone who is struggling as hard as I was, or for anyone who simply wants extra support and intelligent insight!
