About Naadirah

I am a professional and experienced Maths tutor with a strong background in education and a clear understanding of how students develop confidence and fluency in Mathematics. I am currently a teacher completing my PGCE and working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ensuring my teaching aligns closely with current curriculum and assessment expectations.

I have over three years of experience working in schools and two years of tutoring experience, supporting students from Primary level through to Year 9 (Key Stages 1–3). I have taught Maths in school settings, giving me a strong understanding of curriculum progression, common misconceptions, and effective strategies for developing numeracy, problem-solving and reasoning skills.

My teaching approach is structured, clear and supportive. I break mathematical concepts into manageable steps, use worked examples and guided practice, and regularly check understanding to ensure progress. I also have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adapt my lessons to meet individual learning needs and confidence levels.

My aim is to help students build strong foundations, improve accuracy and develop confidence in Maths. Parents and students can expect a reliable, professional and dedicated tutor who is committed to helping learners make meaningful and lasting progress.

About the lesson

I provide structured, supportive Maths tutoring for students from Primary level up to Year 9, helping learners build strong foundations, confidence, and problem-solving skills. My lessons focus on clear explanations and step-by-step methods, ensuring students understand why something works, not just how to get the answer.

With two years of tutoring experience and over three years working in schools, I am able to adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities. I carefully identify gaps in understanding and tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs and goals.

Lessons are interactive and engaging, using guided practice, worked examples, and regular checks for understanding. I encourage students to explain their thinking, develop resilience, and approach Maths with confidence rather than anxiety. I also have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adjust my approach where needed.

Sessions are primarily online, offering flexibility and consistency, with lessons typically lasting 60 minutes. My aim is to help students improve their grades, strengthen core skills, and develop long-term confidence in Maths.
