About Su
Teaching exists because voice is a physical instrument that requires constant, logical refinement. My Artist Diploma in Music Performance from Berklee College of Music informs every technical correction provided to my 67 students.
A methodical approach ensures that sight singing and tone and resonance are built upon a stable foundation of vocal health and care. Lessons emphasize the mechanics of head and chest voice along with consistent belting technique and vibrato control. Providing free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes is a standard part of our work. Watching a student master difficult exam preparation material is truly enjoyable.

Singing becomes rewarding when the mechanics of sound production are finally demystified for the performer. Starting with the basic physical coordination required for pitch control, we move toward professional standards of delivery. My 7 years of experience inform the way we handle microphone technique to ensure consistency in performance settings. Following the training from my Artist Diploma in Music Performance, the focus remains on tangible improvement rather than vague encouragement.
We balance physical endurance with the precision required for high level vocal execution. The methods used are designed to produce audible results in every session. Results are guaranteed by the discipline applied to the craft.
