About Perla
I am a first-generation veterinary student. I fluently can write, read, and speak in Spanish. Having this knowledge has helped me advance in my own field by communicating with clients who cannot speak, write, or read in English. Being able to translate is a plus, but being able to translate medical terms in Spanish has secured my job exponentially.
I also have obtained a minor in microbiology, and have excelled in my English and general ed courses in my college career.

As a CPP student, it is engraved in us to have a style of “learn by doing”. I am confident in tutoring a student because I can have them apply their own interpersonal skills in their work. I am able to make the student feel comfortable, and understand the material in a way that is most easiest to them, while fully understanding the concepts.
