About Ethan
Hi! My name is Ethan, and I am a senior at Princeton University majoring in Molecular Biology. I have been tutoring students for 8 years and am passionate about helping students learn about the incredible field of biology, meet their goals, and find success.
I completed my Molecular Biology major with a 4.0 GPA at Princeton and have also been a successful researcher. I have completed summer research fellowships at The Rockefeller University, the University of Sydney, and the Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. My research has focused on an HIV-1 candidate vaccine, the evolution of RNA viruses in Australian wildlife, and protein binding. I am also a published first-author on a scientific paper for my discovery of 10 novel viruses. Additionally, I am completing a three-year thesis at Princeton, in which I developed a novel tool to study the kinetics of influenza A virus infection.
Biology is not always taught intuitively, and I am motivated to share my passion for the subject so that everyone can find success. While I earned a 5 in AP Biology when I was in high school, I did not particularly enjoy the class or the way it was taught. I hope to make biology enjoyable and interesting while helping you meet your goals.
