About Samir

I knew I wanted to work with computers ever since I was 3 and my dad brought home our first family computer. I then knew I wanted to become a web developer at 14 when a company quoted me a ridiculous price for a run-of-the-mill website. My very first website was an abomination I created through Photoshop then exporting every asset to images which I then stitched together through code. I have come a long way since and it it to ease your own journey that I'd like to share my knowledge with you.

On a more serious note I got a master's degree in CS. After which I co-founded a small IT startup, in which I've worked since for the last 8+ years. I could list all the things, languages and tools I know, but keeping it simple: if it involves web technologies then I've probably used it. Doubly so if it involves Javascript and the React ecosystem.

About the lesson

So, you want to create a fancy website or web application.

You "embellished" your resumé by saying you are a competent web developer, and now you've landed the job and don't know where to start.
You keep hearing about cross-platform mobile apps, where writing a single piece of code gives you an Android AND an IOS app, but don't know much beyond that.
You know the basics of HTML/CSS/JS but everyone keeps bugging you about React this, Fullstack that, and you have no idea what that is, and would like to change that.

Or... you’re starting from zero and you simply wish to learn.

I have over 8 years of experience as a Fullstack NodeJS developer, with a special focus on React and React-native, which is basically just fancy lingo for saying I make websites, apps and mobile apps very fast. I can accompany you on your journey from absolute beginner to expert level, if you'll give me a chance.
