About Ivy
I have been a passionate writer since I made my first poem at two or three years old. In high school, I was the editor for my school's newspaper, and am currently editing four books while writing resumes part-time. I have also been a member of a book pen-pal program during my sophomore year of college as part of my studies in Child Psychology. I am in my final year of receiving my Bachelor's in English Studies from Miami University. I write (and read!) a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction, and I wholeheartedly encourage students to find books they love and never let them go!

I assist students in critical reading skills as well as methods for many forms of writing by helping to identify their strengths and learning styles, as well as tying lessons in to interests if possible. My goal is to give students a love and passion for English at best and a healthy and effective medium for self-expression at least.
