About Abi

I am a woman in STEM and passionate about teaching science to students. Science explains the way the world works and I love bringing it to life through experiments and fun activities. It brings me such joy to help students understand concepts they find difficult and achieve the grade they deserve! I studied Zoology at university so naturally am very enthusiastic about animal conservation and have travelled to many fascinating places such as the rainforest in Borneo to see orangutans! I would absolutely love to help you achieve your highest grade and look forward to hearing from you.

About the lesson

I am passionate about Biology and helping students understand and excel. I am an expert in exam technique and have access to all the past exam papers. I use direct instruction and modelling teaching strategies to ensure students achieve their best grade!

My son gained such confidence from Abi’s sessions and looked forward to them every week! He actually started to enjoy doing exam papers Abi would set and go through with him and ended up exceeding his predicted grades! I cannot thank her enough, her friendly, positive encouragement was also exactly what James needed. Abi made learning fun and very achievable. Cannot recommend her enough and will be using her for my daughter when she gets to secondary school!
